What is IEA?

The Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) is a national organization that provides unique, competitive riding opportunities for equestrian athletes grades 4-12. Founded in Ohio in 2002, IEA has grown to the largest youth equestrian organization in the country with more than 15,000 members nationwide.

Riders compete in a draw-based format on an unfamiliar mount in Hunt Seat, Western and Dressage. The Go With It Farm IEA Team offers both Hunt Seat and Dressage teams. The draw-based format of competition is a true test of skill and horsemanship. The IEA also offers educational opportunities, specialty awards, and many once-in-a-lifetime experiences to its members.

Our Teams

Go With It Farm is offering both Huntseat and Dressage teams for the 2024-2025 competition season.

Our Huntcliff campus will be home to both our Middle School and High School Dressage teams, while our Johns Creek Campus will be home to our Huntseat Middle and High-school Teams.

IEA even offers fun adult divisions!

Competitions

IEA offers an affordable way for young riders to gain experience riding in a catch-ride competition format (each rider at every show draws the horse they are going to compete on that day). This format tests a rider’s skill and horsemanship, without requiring horse ownership. Team members are required to attend 5 shows per season and may qualify for post season regional, zone, and national finals.
