From small to tall, we teach them all!
Go With It Farm (GWIF) is a premier horseback riding facility in the Atlanta metro area. Located just outside of the 285 Perimeter, we are easily accessible from Atlanta. Our scenic location on the banks of the Chattahoochee River nestled in the Huntcliff neighborhood provides the ideal serene location for a peaceful escape from the busy city.
We focus on the Eventing and Combined Training disciplines of riding (Dressage, Stadium Jumping, and Cross Country). Our trainers come from a variety of Hunter Jumper and Equitation backgrounds and strongly believe these fundamentals are essential to a good foundation, regardless of discipline. We are adamant about our own continuing education and jump on every opportunity to learn from the best of the best in our sport. We love passing our own lightbulb moments along to our students.
GWIF offers riding lessons for students of all levels and ages. We are very active on the competition scene and frequent USEA events throughout Area III and the surrounding areas in addition to unrecognized/ schooling shows. We are the proud home of the 2021 and 2024 USEA Pony of the Year, 2021 Area III Novice Jr. Champion, 2022 Area III Beginner Novice Jr. Champion, and many others. The barn family environment at GWIF makes it easy to begin and fall in love with competing in the world of Eventing.
Halliea Berry
GWIF Founder, Program Director, Head Trainer & Instructor
Promoting the sport of Eventing at the grass roots level and cultivating the next generation of eventers in Atlanta is Halliea’s life goal. You can find her coaching at the horse shows, developing the program’s top riders, mentoring instructors, and driving the program from behind-the-scenes.
Meg Bowers
Upper Level Event Rider, UDSF Bronze Medalist, Trainer
Empowering both equine and human athletes to perform at their best is Meg’s specialty. Her straightforward, methodical, and constructive style is reflected in her training programs and clinics, where she prioritizes developing the horse first and teaching the rider to recreate that feel. Whether developing horses or riders, you’ll rarely find Meg far from her favorite place—the arena.
David Anderson
John’s Creek Campus Director, Riding Instructor, Trainer
David’s charisma and genuine passion for horses make him a natural leader for our Academy Campus at John’s Creek. He specializes in working with adult amateur riders, where he helps each rider build confidence and skill. David’s sense of humor makes him a favorite with our younger riders! Having spent nearly his entire life riding and farming, David brings a deep, practical understanding of horsemanship to every lesson. Be sure to stop by and meet him—and don’t be surprised if he introduces you to a few of the many types of animals he’s gathered along the way!
Taylor Sherman
Barn Operations, Head Groom, Riding Instructor
Taylor is a lifelong equestrian. After spending a good portion of her childhood at GWIF, she broadened her experience by grooming for top event riders and traveling internationally as an FEI groom with the U.S. Eventing team. She has also worked as a barn manager, instructor, and in sales within the hunter/jumper world. Now back at GWIF, Taylor is a trusted and versatile member of the team.
Wren Nelson
Riding Instructor
Developing lifelong riders is Wren’s goal. Whether teaching brand new students or experienced riders, they seek to make every lesson a positive learning experience for both horse and rider. Personally, Wren started riding at the age of ten and quickly developed a knack for bringing along green horses. Taking the time to help horses be confident in their own jobs is what they find most rewarding as a rider.
Shanna Early
Riding Instructor
Shanna has two primary passions: horses and teaching. With more than 30 years of experience riding, training, and showing horses in different disciplines, she has a broad knowledge of equestrian skills and techniques. She also has extensive experience teaching and studying the science of learning, which helps her to tailor lessons for the unique needs of each rider.
Marissa Leeann
Riding Instructor
Marissa truly believes a basis in dressage creates the best riders in any equestrian sport. She’s been riding and competing since the age of six and often jokes that she feels more comfortable on a horse than her own two feet. You can find her at her favorite place (the barn!) every weekend, coaching everyone from our new students to our most advanced riders.
Heather Norman
Administrative Executive, Client Relations
Heather began riding at age 11 in North Carolina and joined the GWIF family as a client in 2015. She came on board as the farm’s bookkeeper in 2021, transitioned to full-time in 2025, and is now managing billing, scheduling, new client onboarding, and day-to-day administrative operations. Heather also owns two horses, Foxy and Dolce, and can often be found assisting with horse prep during lessons to support our amazing instructors.
