Twelve incredible GWIF riders traveled to Stable View in mid-May for the 2026 Interscholastic Eventing League (IEL) Championships, competing both individually and as teams in what has become known as The Happiest Horse Trial. This year's theme, Bring the Fire, was on full display throughout the weekend as GWIF transformed our temporary home into The Dragon Den. While there were many individual accomplishments throughout the weekend, the greatest achievement was the collective effort that made it all possible. IEL Championships showcases the team side of eventing, and this year's results were the product of countless hours invested by riders, horses, trainers, and families. From organizing decorations and gear to coordinating logistics, cheering from the rail, and supporting one another throughout the weekend, every member of the GWIF family embraced the spirit of teamwork, sportsmanship, and community pride that makes IEL such a unique experience.
