Arabella has been riding since November 2020, beginning her equestrian journey in Memphis, Tennessee. She joined the GWIF family at our Johns Creek campus in the spring of 2023 and has loved every minute since—from summer camps to her weekly lessons in the saddle. She currently rides with David and is grateful for his encouragement, kindness, and patience. Arabella’s picture above is with her all-time favorite GWIF horse, 😇Sam😇. These days she especially enjoys riding Kirby, thanks to his smooth gait and calm demeanor. Did you know that Kirby favors mini candy canes over regular peppermints? Arabella makes sure she’s always stocked with his favorite snack. What Arabella loves most about riding at GWIF is getting to work with so many different horses and learning their unique personalities. Some of her favorite barn moments are giving the horses baths after summer lessons. Arabella’s short-term riding goals are to rebuild her confidence at the canter—and, most importantly, to always get back on. David nominated Arabella as a careful and courageous rider who continues to build confidence and overcome her fears. Beyond the saddle, she’s known for helping others prepare for lessons, particularly our younger riders, and does so with patience and kindness. David is proud of her determination and positive spirit, and loves having her as part of the GWIF community at John’s Creek! Congratulations, Arabella, for being selected Rider of the Week!
