Anna began riding with GWIF at Huntcliff during the “Covid Summer” of 2020. She started out in the small round pen on ponies like Romeo and Scarlett and learned to canter on Classy. Buck “The Wonder Pony” quickly became one of her greatest teachers - taking her to her very first offsite show at Poplar Place in 2022. From that moment on, she was hooked! Anna has enjoyed leasing partnerships with Buck, Legend, and Cricket. She is currently training with Meg and is working toward her first USEA recognized show with Cricket at the Starter level. Her favorite GWIF event is the annual Halloween Show - especially the barn sleepover. Nothing beats spending all night at her favorite place with barn friends! This summer, Anna’s hard work and positivity truly shined as a Champ Camper. Nominated by David, she served for four weeks across June and July, stepping into any task with a smile. Anna was reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to help. She made sure our youngest riders had fun, asked smart questions when she needed guidance, and handled projects without hesitation or complaint. Summer Camp would not have run as smoothly without Anna, and we are so grateful for all she contributed. Congratulations, Anna - we are proud to celebrate you as our Rider of the Week!
