This week we’re excited to spotlight Lorelei, who began her riding journey with GWIF in weekly lessons only nine months ago! She’s loved her time learning from Mr. Jake, who she declares is the best teacher. When it comes to favorite horses, Lorelei admits it’s a tough choice - but Legend takes the top spot! She loves him for being both snuggly and a little sassy. Close behind on her list are Pilgrim, who she describes as a total sweetheart, and Biscuit, who is somehow even sassier than Legend. 🤭 Lorelei says her favorite part of riding at the barn is learning to “be the boss,” just like Mr. Jake has taught her so that she gains confidence in giving her horse strict instructions. She’s especially excited to keep building her independence so she can jump more and canter on her own. Mr. Jake nominated Lorelei for her bravery and her eagerness to try new things in every ride. She has grown tremendously since her first lessons, and he is very proud to call her his student. Congratulations, Lorelei, and you tell Legend who’s boss!
