Macyn first joined the GWIF family six years ago as a second grader and quickly became a staple around the barn. As her riding experience and talents progressed, she enjoyed leasing partnerships with Hazel, Halle, and now Conrad. One of Macyn’s standout GWIF memories is competing with Halle at the USEA American Eventing Championships in Lexington, Kentucky - where together they finished 7th in the nation in the Starter division! Riding in the Rolex Arena and taking part in the victory gallop are moments she treasures and will never forget. Today, Macyn is focused on continuing to build her new partnership with Conrad and sharpening her skills at the Beginner Novice level. David nominated Macyn for her outstanding commitment to the barn this Summer and the integral part she played in Summer Camp. With the exception of a family vacation, she volunteered her time and efforts every single week of camp, even rearranging personal plans just to be there. Not only was she a camper favorite - earning plenty of fans along the way - her family often treated camp staff with lunch. Mellow Mushroom pretzels were particularly a hit! 😉🥨🥨🥨 Thank you, Macyn, for the hard work, generosity, and dedication you bring to GWIF. Congratulations on being our Rider of the Week!
