🗓️ GWIF Goes: The Near Future 🗓️

• August 21st (TOMORROW!): Make Up Lessons (Huntcliff) - If you ride at our Huntcliff Campus and have missed a lesson in August, this is your opportunity to make it up! Note that makeup lessons are now on Friday evenings.

• August 22nd: : Jumping Derby at John's Creek - Team up with GWIF friends for the ultimate color-coordinated speed contest! You choose the height you want to jump. Awards for fastest teams, team spirit, and best dressed! All riders from both campuses are welcome.

• August 24th - August 30th: USEA American Eventing Championship!! - Join us in wishing the best of luck to NINE horse-and-rider pairs in competing in our national championship event at Kentucky Horse Park! GO GWIF!

• August 28th: Make Up Lessons (John’s Creek) - If you ride at our John’s Creek Campus and will miss a lesson in August, this is your opportunity to make it up! Note that makeup lessons are now on Friday evenings.

• September 5th: XC Schooling - Available to all students capable of jumping 18” course. Please ask your instructor before signing up if this would be your first XC Schooling. Adult supervision and transportation required.

• September 10th - 13th: USEA The Fork @ Tryon International - Open to leasing/boarding clients with trainer permission. Divisions offered: BN-N (CT only), T - A, CCI1* - 4*; Closing Date: 8/25

• September 11th - 12th: Schooling Show: Poplar or Bouckaert - Open to all students. Please consult your instructor before signing up. Venue is TBD. We will haul out on Friday and compete on Saturday.

• September 18th: Make Up Lessons (Huntcliff) - If you ride at our Huntcliff Campus and will miss a lesson in September, this is your opportunity to make it up! Note that makeup lessons are now on Friday evenings.

• September 19th: Schooling Show: Big Cheese - Open to all students. Please consult your instructor before signing up. Ashland does not offer on-site stabling. We will both haul and compete on Saturday. Be prepared for a very early morning departure from GWIF.

🏆 2026 American Eventing Championship 🏆

The countdown is on for the 2026 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) presented by Nutrena Feeds, taking place August 25–30 at the historic Kentucky Horse Park! The AEC serves as the prestigious national championship for our sport of eventing, bringing together the top horse-and-rider combinations in the country - ranging from grassroots junior and adult amateur competitors to elite Olympic professionals.

Simply earning a spot at the AEC is a tremendous achievement. To qualify, horses and riders must demonstrate their skill, consistency, and competitiveness by meeting strict qualification standards at recognized horse trials throughout the year. This year, we’re thrilled to have TEN GWIF horse-and-rider partnerships who have put in the work, met those standards, and earned their place at the AEC!
