Lila began riding at GWIF in April 2025, starting at the Johns Creek campus before transitioning to Huntcliff, where she has continued to grow and thrive. She especially enjoys group lessons, where she’s built friendships with other riders who share her love of horses and the sport. Marty is her favorite lesson horse, who she describes as “so sweet and fun to ride.” Lila already has some standout riding memories, including the first time she jumped and her first bareback ride. Looking ahead, she’s focused on continuing to improve her jumping skills. Wren nominated Lila in recognition of the steady progress she shows in every lesson. She approaches challenges with grit and persistence, even when things feel difficult, and consistently puts in the effort to improve. Any GWIF rider can attest that steering Pilgrim is no small feat, but Lila has risen to the challenge and has it dialed in. Her determination makes her a joy to teach! Congratulations, Lila!
