After moving to Atlanta, Ann was hoping to find a place to ride that would also provide the opportunity to meet a few new people. It’s safe to say she found both at GWIF! Ann joined the GWIF family in April 2019, starting out with just one lesson each weekend. Before long, that weekly ride grew into twice a week, and eventually into leasing. After some time off surrounding the birth of her son, Fischer, Ann returned to GWIF to continue riding. One of Ann’s favorite GWIF memories came at her most recent show at Poplar Place Farm. It was a weekend full of milestones - her first show back after the birth of Fischer AND the completion of her first three-phase, a long-held goal. Being surrounded by supportive teammates and trainers made the accomplishment all the more special. Looking ahead, Ann hopes to gain a bit more experience at the Amoeba level before stepping up to compete in a Starter 3-Phase. Meg nominated Ann both for her recent performance at Poplar and for the steady, positive presence she brings to the barn. Ann quietly steps in to help without being asked, including lending a hand during weekend lessons. She’s always a joy to teach and ensures her horses receive exceptional care. Ann makes the barn a better place! Congratulations, Ann - we are so glad to have you!
